Invite: Virtual roundtable on the impact of hydrogen production on air quality

The APPG is hosting a roundtable on Tuesday 13 December 2022 at 10-11am, exploring the effect on air quality of increased hydrogen production for the gas grid and transport, particularly hydrogen-powered cars and trains.  Speakers will include: Dr Alvin Orbaek White (Associate Professor and former Welsh Government Sêr Cymru II Fellow at Swansea University), Professor Andrew Barron (Sêr Cymru Chair of Low Carbon Energy and Environment) and Celia Greaves (CEO and Founder, UK Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association).  There will be a Q&A session after speaker presentations.

This event aims to give a greater understanding of the implications of the push for green energy infrastructure on air quality in affected areas, with a focus on hydrogen.
